I am a bad blogger..

Yes, well it seems that keeping track of things on my blog isn’t what I am best for.  To be honest, well it isn,t a priority neither.  I have a blog more so people can keep in touch, even so vagly, with me.

Ok, so what has happened sinec my move?  Well, since the last time I blogged, a few things did happen.  First off, As planned,I got the net back on the 11th.  Phone and services have been fine so far, once the bill gets in, I’ll be able to tell you more about my new providers.  I have also been working on my masters project.  Well, as probably to be expected, my director rejected my frist draft, even if I did call him 3 times to know what he wanted!  Any ways, he gave me the guide lines and I restarted and he finaly accepted my 2nd draft.  So now I got about a month to try and finish the other sections.

I have also been making the most out of summer, doing alot of biking, going to the family cottage a few times and hanging around buddy’s of mine alot.  We have been playing alot of Warhammer, Warhammer 40K, Legend of Five rings, etc.  So in all, making the most of the summer before I start working in the month of Septembre and when my GF comes back.

So thats a good update, i’ll probably get back to good blogging in septembre, when it starts raining out side.  Oh yeah, also, as I was jogging, onr of my knee hurt so bad I had to stop, so now I have a radiology tests to go and have done and a meeting with my Physiotherapist.  Hope that goes well.

So have a good summer and we will all see each other in septembre!

After the dreaded 1st of July…

•July 5, 2007 • 1 Comment

Yeps, well my Canada day was, as much of the inhabitants of the Island of Montreal, moving day.

Now, 2 years ago, I had a disaster moving day, mainly because of bad preperation and also tensions with the mother-in-law who tough this was a picknick, and not a move.

Any ways, this year was well organised.  I had reserved a 16′ cube truck, all my boxes where identified in black or red writing, depending on the fagility of its contents, and I also had a 4 color code to determine what room it was destined to go in in the new appartement.

But, to be fair to all my 3 readers out there (seeing how frequently I blog these days, I would be surprised to see any more…), I’ll start the story at the beginning.

We had acces to the appartement on the 29th of June since the old tenentes had their condo since the 1st of june. So the father-in-law and my brother-in-law (the youngest) came down from Sherbrooke to give me a hand with painting the appartement (pictures will be given later when I have acces to the Net at home).  So we proceded to painting the Kichen in a nice orange (very shinny!), the hall and living room in a nice light blue and the office and bedroom in a calm beige cream color.

We had to do a total of 2 layer of paintin every room, and the old colors where also pale so no primer was needed.  It took us a total of 2 day to get every thing done and we still had time to clean the kitchen fridge, oven,  and the floors.

So on the 1st, we did the move.  I was up at 6 AM because I was meeting my parents, who came down from Lac-Mégantic to give a hand, to get the truck.  Getting it was no problem, and we got back at around 7h30 AM with it.  We parked it on a free space of asphalt between a nabouring building and the side walk.  At 8, we started to break down the furniture that could be (office, the sofa, etc) and at 8h30 we started moving the stuff down.  Started with the bed cuz thats a beast in itself, especialy with the stairs we had at the old appartement (trust me, it took about 15 mins for the bed compared to the 2-3 mins for the rest of the stuff).  So at that point we where 5, my mom, my dad, father and brother-in-law and me.  At 8h45 (after the bed was down) 2 of my friends arrived.  So all was going well and we left at around 10 AM to arrive at the next place at 10h30.  We unloaded and where done at around 1h30, more then enough time to to give the truck back (due for 12h30).

In all, we had eaten and most of my troops left at around 1h30 PM.  Only my parents stayed to help rebuild one of the office desks.  So at 3 PM, I was al done and alone.

So thats a good resumay of all that happened.  I sould have acces toi the net at home on the 11th, so as of then, updates should restart.

Any ways, alot of stuff to do, and updates to look at.  So I shall talk to you all later.

Update on all that involves me!

•June 27, 2007 • Leave a Comment

Isn’t that the whole point in a blog?!

Any ways, all my preperations for my move is going well.  Only thing is I missed some news paper to pack more of my dishes and the like, but thats something easy to solve.  I am in boxes all over the place, and I just keep the comp up to still have acces to email and the like.

I don,t know when my net connection will be cut off since I am changing phone company’s (kinda tired being bum raped by Bell Canada…) and if I want to keep my phone number, I got to be patient.

Any ways, already got my new cell phone, it’s the nice and sleek Sony Erricson w710i.

I’ll gve news on it in the futur but so far so good.

I’ll try and update AFTER I move (1st of july, on Canada day…Its like moving on Independence day or on the 14th of July…and it happens EVERY YEAR!)

Any ways, have a good one ppl!

I just need to share…

Ok, I am watching the news, as I always do, and then suddenly there is a report on the trial of Nima Mazhari, the current boyfriend of Myriam Bedard, an ex-olympic gold medalist of Canada.

Now, I need to say thins first off, but the guy is of Iranian origin.  This, I must say, has nothing to do with what I am about to say.

But, the  guy is a friken nut case!!!!!

The first time I heard about this guy was when Myriam Bedard was in the US illigaly with her daughter born of another union.  At that time, he public said that the case was a Goverment beurocracy conspiracy and was only done to harm him and his family.  On the Bedard’s family side, they say that Myriam isn’t the same ever since she dates this guy, and if you remember her from a few years ago, you’d agree.

But right now Mazhari is in corut because he alledgedly stole paintings from an artist with whome he had an art gallery with.

What did this guy say at the last moment of his interogation….he again said it was a conscpiracy against him and that all the evidence was fabricated…

One time is ok, but a 2nd time, this guy is obviosly a nut case and two options are affordable for us Canadiens…Either lock him up for good in a psycartice ward and throw away the key, or ship him back to Iran, and lets see what he then thinks of the beurcratic conspiracy of the Canadien Goverment and the proof fabrication of the courts.

Some people are just crazy and can’t admit it.  All I know is that I ain’t sane, but I never claimed I was ;)

After the weekend at my LARP…

•May 28, 2007 • 1 Comment

Well, the weekend went extreamly well.  It was better then the first time I went to it, and we did alot of combats that we triumphed.  We had the bridge secured very clearly, but in the last huge confrontation, we had alot of difficulty to get a decisive advantage and reverse the enemy’s numbers and geography advantages.

We might have had a little bit too much combat, I can clearly say that Saterday was very tiering, we fought a total of 6 times, and Running and fighting in armor is very…VERY tireing.

Any ways, it was a fun adventure and I can’t wait for the 2nd one at the end of the summer.
